Holmes & Cook uses a team of highly qualified econometricians led by Louise Cook who has many years' experience of econometric model building. Our collective background includes working for research agencies, media consultancies and client companies.
We combine the analytical skills of our econometricians with project management, brand management and data handling expertise.
In a fast moving marketing world all of our team members make an intellectual contribution to our output.
Our participation in the wider industry has involved speaking on aspects of communications evaluation and of modelling at various industry events. It also includes judging awards (IPA and APG) and writing papers for both awards and research.
Holmes & Cook analysis has featured in numerous prize winning IPA advertising effectiveness papers. Several of these published papers have formed the basis for significant developments in the application of econometrics to advertising evaluation notably, Fosters, PG Tips, Olivio, Optrex, O2 and Vehicle crime.
You’d be surprised if your models weren’t being built by people with geeky sounding qualifications. With degrees in Mathematical Economics, Economics (including Masters) and Operational Research (Masters) we think that box is well-ticked. It’s the other things we do and the experience we’ve all picked up along the way which make us who we really are. This in turn influences our attitude to quality, the way we build those models, the questions we ask and the way we communicate the findings.
